By using RentalOps Canada, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
RentalOps Canada provides a platform for landlords to track rental income and expenses. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for ensuring compliance with all local, provincial, and federal laws. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
RentalOps Canada operates as a "Small Supplier" as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) under the Excise Tax Act. Accordingly, we do not currently collect GST/HST on our subscription fees. All listed prices are exclusive of these taxes until such time as we reach the mandatory registration threshold.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing to our services, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Services Agreement. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel it via your user dashboard before the next scheduled billing date.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to RentalOps Canada in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We are not liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the service.
All content, features, and functionality on RentalOps Canada, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of RentalOps Canada and are protected by applicable Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of all data and content you input into the platform. By using the service, you grant RentalOps Canada a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version of these Terms will always be available on this page.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RentalOps Canada regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
